This ex-NFL player tackles pain with NOPALEA tm

I wish I had Nopalea in my locker when I was playing.” Kwamie Lassiter

Kwamie Lassiter enjoyed 10 very successful years in the National Football League (NFL). He played for the Arizona Cardinals for eight seasons, and the San Diego Chargers and St. Louis Ram for one season each. As a defensive back, Kwamie was trained to make hard hits. “I learned to play through the pain.” Kwamie recalls. “Even if I was hurting, I didn't want to let down my teammates who were depending on me.” He finished his career with 650 tackles, 25 interceptions and was awarded All-Pro and Pro Bowl career honors.

However, since Kwamie left the game he loved so much and the cheers died down he was left with the bleak prospect of a lifetime filled with pain. “Three to four years after I retired from pro football, I could ignore the pain no longer.” says Kwamie. “Pretty much every part of my body was hurting, especially my knees, joints, ankles, fingers and muscles in my lower back. I just knew that I couldn't keep living this way.”

One winning solution
Then, Kwamie heard about Nopalea and started on the Loading Phase with great hopes. “I wasn't expecting an 'overnight fix' because my body has been through so much abuse.” he observes. “I just wanted to feel better. I really like the fact that Nopalea is natural. And now that I've been taking Nopalea for several months, my whole body feels better.”

Kwamie is thrilled to be able to once again enjoy golf and swing a golf club without feeling pain. Kwamie also enjoys other simple pleasures, such as a neighborhood walk. “Now, I can walk outside without hobbling.” he exults. “Nopalea has done everything I wanted it to do, and I fully expect to be pain-free. It really makes me feel more youthful.” He emphasizes that Nopalea isn't just for athletes who have pushed their bodies to the extreme. This wellness drink helps protect your body against a multitude of inflammatory conditions. “I only wish that I, along with my teammates who are in pain today, had it when we were playing.

Kwamie also enjoys the mental energy and clarity he gets from TriVita's Sublingual B-12. “I used to get B-12 injections when I was playing football,” Kwamie remembers. “Sublingual B-12 really helps me stay focused and on top of my busy schedule. I'm already telling my friends who take B-12 shots about TriVita's Sublingual B-12, so they too can experience its wonderful benefits without the pain associated with a needle.”

A giving spirit
Kwamie's passion to give back comes from watching his grandparents deal with the world with a lot of love, compassion and understanding. “They realized that we are all different, and we all had life issues of our own to deal with, some through no fault of their own,” he notes. “What was more impressive, is they gave so much back without a great deal of financial means. I finally understood their giving nature. God is good! It was very clear to me that part of life is about helping and giving back where it is needed.”

As a result, Kwamie has put a lot of time and energy into the Kwamie Lassiter Foundation. This foundation focuses on educating boys and girls on the importance of staying healthy by leading an active life and making good dietary choices.”I want to bring awareness of unhealthy lifestyles and childhood obesity because they affect so many of us on a daily basis.”

He created the T.A.C.K.L.E Foundation, Teaching All Children to Kickoff Leadership through Education. This organization helps change the way children are motivated and to promote their success through education.

Kwamie keeps his love for sports alive through his extensive radio and television work. He has his own sport talk show on Voice America Sports. Kwamie has also put his knowledge of football to good use by teaching some of the top college athletes entering the NFL draft. He is president of the NFL Alumni chapter of Arizona.

So, Kwamie has a very fulfilling life which has put him back on top of his game. He has only one regret, “The way I feel now, I wish I had Nopalea in my locker room when I was playing pro football.” he says. “And the only side effect to drinking Nopalea is feeling better.”
